EASTWOOD EYES OPTOMETRISTS has served the community of Eastwood for over 20 years. Our Optometrist John LoRusso has over 15 years experience and commenced with Eastwood Eyes in 1999. Our services include comprehensive eye examinations, routine testing for glaucoma, macula degeneration, and cataracts. Other services include Diabetic Ocular assessment, childrens vision assessment, contact lens fitting, Laser refractive surgery co-management, and referral to ophthalmology if neccessary. We have up to date equipment including a digital camera (that photographs the retina and cornea), a Medmont Visual Field Analyser (used in assessing Visual Fields - important for Glaucoma Assessment), slit lamp Biomicroscope, a Non-Contact Tonometer and an Autorefractor.
Our Optical dispenser Jenny Saouma has been with the practice since 1988. Not only is she experienced in fitting lenses to frames, but also has a keen eye for selecting the right frame for every face. We have an on site mini-lab able to dispense many optical prescriptions fast and efficiently. We also offer FREE spectacle adjustments, friendly service and the right advise for all your eyecare needs.
We are within walking distance of Eastwood Railway Station and are well serviced by buses. Parking is available at the Eastwood Shopping Centre carpark, The Glen Street carpark (located on the corner of Glen St and Lakeside Rd) or on the surrounding residental streets (including Rowe St and Trelawney St). Parking times vary from 1 hour to 3 hours. We also have wheel chair access.
